Keywords alone are not going to win a civil engineering proposal, but they can certainly help. Here at Equator Studios, we have compiled a list of key phrases that clients love to hear in a proposal or bid document.

Now, these key phrases are very generic and contain a lot of the current “buzz-words” in the AEC (architecture/engineering/construction) industry. Part of saying “the right thing” to create a winning bid proposal is knowing your client and studying the RFP so you know everything there is to know about the proposed project.

These key phrases should be massaged and built upon so they fall in line with who your client is, what your client values, and what the critical components of the project are. In addition, they should seamlessly weave themselves in with the narrative you are telling within your proposal.
